If your student group/organization is interested in participating in the carnival, please fill out and submit this form to receive your registration packet. Make sure to note which group you’re representing in your message!

Important deadlines:

Early Registration (discounted fees): February 26th, 2026 at 8pm CST

Regular Registration: March 5th, 2026 at 8pm CST

Carnival Participation FAQs

Who can attend Carnival?

  • ANYONE! ThurtenE Carnival is open to the public. Each year we welcome crowds largely from the greater STL area, but also from all over the country. Rides are geared towards all ages!

Who can participate in Carnival?

  • Any graduate or undergraduate student group! It isn’t limited to WashU-affiliated groups. Have a friend group or residential floor that wants to run a booth? You can too!

How do I sign up?

  • While official signups haven’t opened yet, we strongly encourage you to fill out the non-binding interest form above so we know to send you more information as it becomes available.

Why should my group participate?

  • Carnival provides student groups a unique opportunity to interact not only with the WashU community but also the St. Louis community as a whole.

  • It’s also a great fundraising opportunity. Your groups decides what to do with money you raise, whether that be keeping it for your group’s use, donating it to our community partner, or donating it to another charity of your choosing.

What should my group expect to be doing during the Carnival?

  • Each group generally runs a booth, with options including selling food or goods, running a game, or doing some other activity of your choosing.
